These are likely the same "Sunderland sources" that have been leaking bollocks to local sports reporters. Not sure I would believe anything coming out of the club under the stewardship of this lot. Most of it is to keep the fans at bay during times they could be getting angrier and more frustrated when they see a lack of action on the many fronts we currently see it. The carrot of potential new ownership is a convenient way to pull the wool over our eyes while he spends nothing and does even less.

This. It was blatantly scripted from start to finish. If you bring your phone and agree to ask pre-written questions (I mean the bit about rich energy taking the world by storm man!) and give me a day to prepare I reckon I could sound like a clued up, knowledgeable, potentiality exciting future owner of Colchester United. I'd drop in bits about ex managers, I'd say they need good people in key positions, I'd talk about any recent controversies (easy to find on message boards), I'd talk up my "backers" . In reality I've got **** all money, know **** all people with money, and know **** all about Colchester. It's very easy to sound good when it's all set up for you .
Things have moved forward mate. People either can't say because they're in confidence ... ... or don't want to have to answer endless follow up questions. I post less than I could but I was attacked relentlessly, last year, and don't want to repeat the experience.
If you really want a definitive update you need to go to the club website ... ... anything else can be classed as gossip tbh.

I have absolutely loads of gossip mate. I also have some genuine first hand information. After the relentless barrage of shyte I had flung at me, last time, I've become reluctant to post either. I've posted the truth to a few lads I trust who'll confirm what I've told them after it happens ... ... then I can go back to being just another supporter as I used to be.

Not really mate. Things have happened that are significant and the club will be quite different quite soon. The info is mainly from some good Sunderland lads, on RTG, who won't post because of the weirdos. I can't repeat anything because they've told me in confidence.
I take it this coincides with @Wheatsheaf post for an announcement early November which you replied you think it may be earlier?
