They were on track to become what the RS were gloating about though, then Simeone broke Klopp, and they’ve never recovered. They’re now merely a good side and not the all conquering myth that Kopites would have people swallow.
That myth has been firmly put to bed during the period in question btw, he’s gone from being ****ing Robocop at the back to just another decent CB with a mistake in him. Makes you wonder quite what they did in those preceding 18 months that made them stand out, that’s no longer been the case since Feb doesn’t it In completely unrelated news, wasn’t it around Feb time that all those tales of special drinks and inhalers came out?
Reminds me of Dortmund when Klopp’s man management had rinsed every bit of fire out of the players...they spiralled twice as fast and ended up in a relegation battle the following season not saying that is happening here jus sayin
I’ve seen said that at the end of his reign there, he took a side that was in a 2 horse race and nearly got them relegated, he then ran away and took about a year to get over the meltdown.
Lots of reasons for those stats being nonsense and the Athletico thing, we had them beat and then Adrian got involved. Anyway I'm not chomping on this. Good luck though.
How can facts be nonsense? Also, talking of facts, Adrián didn’t play in the game that started the slide Alisson did.
I was sitting watching Thommo a few weeks ago saying this team will dominate English football for 10 years. He’s got no idea how hard it is to replace players like Mane and errrr... anyway, it just looks like the PL will evolve into a royal rumble, and whoever has momentum at the right time can snatch it. Liverpool and Leicester both took advantage of a piss poor league, let’s see how Liverpool get on this year. There’s not a hope in hell they’re running away with it again, that’s for sure.
You literally won it slower than any team in history but let’s not allow silly facts like Time to get in the way of a good Rat Myth.
