Its all football Northy at the end of the day (despite you English trying to nick the name solely for soccer!).

Besides, we have to allow the fatties have a game of their own other than pie-eating contests and sumo

So we look forward to the insufferable egos of SA v Aussie in the Quarters and the even more insufferable egos of the winner playing NZ in the semis, all three seem to think they have the God-given right to just turn up and win. Does it remind you of the Premier League?!...

Welsh looking good today, even though it's not full Fiji 1st team their handling has been superb and, with confidence sky-high, they will fancy their chances in our half of the draw...

On the Telegraph website now, and no review or mention of the Wales game as yet...

Edit: Now there's a rather flattering report.

    Great display by Ireland.

    Tommy Bowe is just unbelieveable.

Anybody see the Moroccan flag in the crowd? Some of our lot thought Adel was playing?

Its looking very much like a NZ and Ireland final. The welsh are fantastic, but very simply Ireland have more top quality players. England and France have stuttered this far. Both teams are just not good enough. The SA and Aussie match could be a classic.

Bloody hell NUTS, right after I have a go at the Aussies for being arrogant you come out with this!! <doh>

Lets take one game at a time brother. Wales v Irl is so evenly matched its the toss of a coin. France can always turn it on when you least expect it. England will keep slogging away until they wear you down. SA and Oz can't be written off either and NZ are class.

The only side I would rule out at this stage is Argentina. Its that open for me.
