Following online commentary of Udinese's match against Roma.

Pereyra is playing his first match for them - 0-0 at half time, he never got a mention until the 44th minute. Doesn't look like he's changed much.

It's not an Argy v Engand thing. He has so much more class than WFC, when he can show it it is up to him. Last chance in Europe or back to Argentina me thinks.

I was under the impression that he found learning English very difficult and felt isolated. I can understand how that could affect his performances and/or motivation.

And the long term knee injury hampered him too.

Brandon Mason moved from Coventry to St.Mirren yesterday.
He looked like a promising left back three years ago.

Javi Gracia is holding crisis talks with Valencia's president over the lack of transfer activity, and is apparently threatening to walk away from the job.
Makes you wonder what lies are told at job interviews for managerial positions.

Yes - basically had players sold and not been allowed to replace them.

Whoopsie - he's been told it will cost him £2.7 million to walk away. Unsurprisingly, he's staying.

    Good news for Tommie Hoban.

Seems to be making a strong impression in Scotland.

He certainly is - my Aberdeen supporting friends are very impressed with his performances. Such a shame he was so injury prone.

Probably fit in well in our team as a footballing defender if that is how we want to play - more so than some of our current mob!

Welbeck swap for Murray. Who got the better deal?

Probably depend on who can get either fit and playing.

Welbeck is good but so injury prone that he hardly plays and Murray has looked like a man of 37 years old.

and hardly plays either. He's certainly not equipped for a lone striker role - looks to be well slower than Troy and lacks his technical ability. Barring emergencies, I really can't see him getting much game time when we have our full complement of strikers available.

I think that now he is best suited to a two striker attack where he can pick up the anything going loose from the other striker. He still has finishing ability but needs to be a goal mouth poacher now.
