Darlow dropped the ball three times yesterday. And that is now classed as being excellent? And worthy of playing for England? If so, we definitely have got to the bottom of the barrel.
Is Keith Downie really championing Darlows cause? Seriously? He's ****ing bang average. He drops the ball all the time. He's a goalkeeper. Nothing to add really. I will say England have a huge problem there because Pickford is gash. He ain't a top goalkeeper. Hopefully Henderson can impress again this season and usurp the massively overrated De Gea. Who looks like he has been on De Gea whenever he's in nets.
There is no way Darlow is England level. He has had a couple of good weeks but generally looks lacking in confidence and technique. You'll notice that whenever he gets a ball play back to him he doesn't control it but just plays the immediate hoof upfield. It means that we have a ~50% chance of losing possession. We have enough problems retaining possession without that.
Heppy birthday Darlow, he's 30 today apparently. If he gets an England cap tho, it'll be more indicative of how bad English keepers are, rather than his talent.
