    Cars will do well over 100,000 miles with very few problems, they are built to last or if you go Ford cheap to fix.

    I lucked out because it had power assisted steering mate which was a bonus in them days. **** like that isn't even thought about now. <laugh>

    It used to be an optional extra. My missus had a Citroen Saxo a few years ago with no power steering. Even for a small car it you still needed guns like Popeye to steer it <laugh>

    pas, sunroof, electric windows, air con, removable fcking cd player lol were all extras which either nobody cares about now or come as standard
