Robbie Gotts, 20 year old midfielder/wingback. https://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/s...sign-robbie-gotts-loan-leeds-united/?ref=ebls
Apparently he's very highly rated by Bielsa so that's good enough for me. Still sceptical about this though as only reported by Northern Echo so far.
Absolutely mate! In the mold of Ivan Toney or Tammy Abraham would be class. 99% of the other teams are probably thinking the same though. Clarke-Harris would have been alright, before Peterborough got him. Are Wyke's and Grigg's wages causing a problem?
Other teams seem to get really good loans that are often the best player on the pitch why do we keep getting young loan players as back up for our first team.
As already said If Bielsa rates him highly then he must be good. But I'm sure that Parky said that he would not bring in any loan players that might affect the development chances for our own youngsters. Surely if he would block Hume's development then this is a non-starter. Former Manchester United and Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck has left Watford on a free transfer.
Gotts plays centre midfield. He used to be a right back but Bielsa converted him into centre mid. So he's another CM option who can be a better back up RWB to O'Nien than McLaughlin is.
Pretty sure our manager thinks we've got as good as we'll get. Which allows him to think he'll do well to keep us up.
Now that is something we need. We need cover for Hume as well like but I've long wanted O'Nien freed up to play his proper position.
Parky has also said that he'll only sign loan players if they improve our first team - so its a bit left field but he may even see Gotts as the first choice right wing back with O'Nien going into the the number 10 role he played at Wycombe.
I heard this on the radio, contract terminated by mutual consent. Do you reckon this if the premier league player Storey has lined up?
Well the lad will never see that kind of cash again as a player. It will be interesting to see if he fancies playing at a championship club or lower prem club on about a fifth or tenth of that, depending on where he might end up. Hard luck with the injuries for him mind, they have always plagued him
with covid no body will be buying at his age so he may as well come to us till the end of the season it will keep him fit and in ***s and beer money
