I understand Glen is writing a book as well. He's having trouble getting past page one without repeating himself......
Funnily enough I know Dom Booth. Probably doesn’t surprise you to know he’s a big Man Utd fan (as I imagine most at WOL are )
Damned plagiarist. I bet he doesn't even use his own plectrum. (Just thought I'd give that one a run out. It's been locked away since the BBC606 days)
Just a friendly warning. Careful using a word like plectrum - Masky is dyslexic and could take it the wrong way (literally).
OK guys, back on subject........... Anyone fancy Besic on a loan from Everton? He can't get a game for Ancelotti and looks destined to be sent out on loan again. I thought he was a better option than Grujic from Liverpool a couple of seasons back. Maybe not the creative midfielder we need being more box to box type, but he'd add a lot to our game.
Probably more suited to Harris's "style" but again I fear one player maketh not a midfeld. It's too late to be saying this now and we are where we are, but was there actually any strategy to our our activity in the market? Was tnhere ever a plan? No question we are going to need players that can feed Moore. If he can add to the squad as you think he might, then worth a go.
It seems to me that the strategy was to buy Moore, sell/release players to finance that and his wages, then get in loaners or freebies. End of. As for Besic I think we tried to get him for our first effort at the Prem but failed. He played for Bosnia against Wales at CCS, 3 or 4 years ago and was totally anonymous. He is more of a holding player like Pack and I couldn't see him being the alternative creative genius we need. Grujic is more in line with our needs but we can't afford him unless Liverpool fund a big chuck of his wages.
According to BBC us, Boro and QPR are looking at Barnsley midfielder Alex Mowatt. Formerly played for Leeds and scored again st us in their 3.1 defeat at CCS a few years ago.
WoL on it as well but playing down interest. https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport...kCopy&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=sharebar
Always liked Mowatt. Agressive and a driving force going forward not backwards - something we need. An added attraction for City and him might be that he played with and set up Keiffer Moore many times during their time together at Barnsley
Osayi-Samuel anyone? Available for less than 5 mill and would be a great asset out wide to replace the ageing Hoilett, stuttering Murphy and limited Whyte. Have City got the ambition?
Glen thinks hey here’s an idea. I’ve got nothing new to add so I’ll ask a bunch of fans for their views on the transfer window situation and print them. Poor lad - he must be running out of inspiration and with no league football this weekend what’s he going to come up with next https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/big-cardiff-city-fans-jury-19052910
