Hopefully two decent additions, dont know much about Willock, one of his brothers, the one still at arsenal is a good turn though.
Adomeh is a shock troop...coming off bench at 70 minutes ( sorry.. goodbye Paul Smythe) Willock...will relieve Chair or Amos of their position I think
Adomah’s interview has to be a classic. Hope it goes well for him and us (and he gets his wish come true).
Chair cant play the wing position like Eze did. He is though, when on form, one of my favourite players. I can see a fair bit of tinkering with formations and positions over the next couple of months. Something that may not end well for us, but with the amount of games heading our way, it is understandable.
Be interesting team selection & formation when we start back & cant even bloody see them! So annoying
Chuffed with both signings.......Albert is like the kid who's Christmases have come at once...... That uncle Albert he's one of our own..... Shame we couldn't have got him and Naki years ago when kneecap was in charge....
It is a shrewd signing as we lack experience......apart from Cameron and Wallace I don't think we have anyone over 25 or 26, we really are a young side....
I agree about the experience, pity both are experienced players are two of our weakest links in my opinion.
I am happy with the two signings, but desperately want to see a commanding defender or two added. We have to stop giving away soft goals and become a defensive force especially at set pieces. Unfortunately, we can't rely on outscoring our opponents if we leak too many goals. Warburton needs to recognise this deficiency that many fans have already recognised. He needs to get his finger out and concentrate to stop conceding goals, this will also relieve some of the pressure on our forwards. If he needs a defensive coach, get one as a priority please.
Agree, I would have thought a defender was a priority. That said Dickie is looking the part now, just the others give me the jitters...
Very pleased that these 2 have joined us. I thought I read before Willock can play the 10 role as well as wide, Warburton confirms this. I hope he is comfortable on the ball and can play 10 creatively because for me that is where we are short now. With a creative man centrally and BOS (again hopeful) and Albert out wide, there should be plenty of ammunition.
Interesting review of Chris Willock from Huddersfield fan. Link: http://www.terrierspirit.com/a-hudersfield-town-fans-perspective-on-chris-willock-signing-for-qpr/ Seems a mixed bag, with plenty of potential. Can’t help but feel that Chris Ramsey will have a major role in moulding him. Hope he can pull it together and terrorise a few defenders, as he seems capable of, and keep himself in the mix for the full game.
First-team coach Neil Banfield knows Willock well from his days at Arsenal and presumably would have had a big say in his signing. He says that Willock can play as a 7,10 or 11. We've got plenty of 7s and 11s now, so hopefully he'll fit in at number 10.
