I'm actually enjoying watching the Lads. The standard of football is so bad, basic misplaced passes, bad ball control. And I think the lack of atmosphere makes it all seem.even worse.
But watching the Lads at 3pm is about the only normal thing left. I cant see my friends or visit my parents, havent seen my workmates for 6 months so it's nice to see the Lads play and get some normality for 90 minutes.
These are awful times and it doesnt look.like getting significantly better for a long time. If we get this season complete, without a suspension or teams going bust, will be a miracle tbh.

I have to admit, not in the medical term because of the worldwide situation, but it feels sterile. By that I mean, no crowds to give players stick when they make a mistake, can you imagine the grief Villa fans would have been giving Liverpool players last night?Funny chants, "getting sacked in the morning",Probably resulting in a few hot head moments but instead it was like a training game in the end. Add to that,VAR even if there were supporters inside the ground, gone are the days where a crowd could influence a refs decision, now it's clear cut, no ifs or buts. I'm enjoying football, but the X-Factor is gone from it.

I wonder if any Far East markets showed some unusual betting patterns over the weekend.

I agree regarding fans being in the ground. man U sh*te but with fans there I do not think Spurs would have scored 6.

This weekend has been just as weird, Spurs, Chelsea, Leicester, Newcastle conceding a lot of late goals.

    Good TV though ....

My thoughts are these late goals are perhaps teams not being driven on by the fans are lacking concentration in the last 10-15 minutes and teams like WHU yesterday are taking advantage.
I think playing in empty stadiums is awful and games are like training sessions, without fans football is meaningless and if the football authorities haven't woken up to that fact then their in the wrong jobs.

It won't happen but I would love to see Villa and Everton dump two of the "big six" out of the top four.

That proposal has shown how ****ing ahead of themselves they have got.

Really enjoying the upheaval at the moment.

I guess I'm the odd one out... I'm thoroughly enjoying the Premier league more than ever, this season. The games have more goals and are therefore more exciting to watch. I love the unique rawness of watching the best footballers in the world without an atmosphere, it helps me focus more on the match itself and their incredible skills and movement throughout the game.

Var is the worst thing to happen to football, though.
