And also, no second yellow for the celebration?

David Pleat on radio 5: I don't think he [handballed].

why do the BBC hire such biased f*ggots these days? wheres the former arsenal manager on the bbc radio coverage? should be imartial you'd have thought, being a tax-run organisation

Yup. Sucks. We played ok first half. Coquelin looked good. Shame arteta and ramsey are terrible.

I know everyone will abuse mertasacker but I really like him and think he is a great pro. So I am biassed and think he is good for us. Although I do accept things seem to go wrong around him.

To be fair, Pleat never has a clue. So I doubt it is bias and suspect it is just he hasnt got a clue.

Not a handball and didn't run into the crowd.
Clearly his chest and he just stopped before the crowd.
    Sorry.

If it wasn't controlled with his arm then I'd like to congratulate van der Vaart for managing to bend the laws of physics.

I don't buy the yellow for the goal celebration though.

    Yup.

Still doesnt excuse our school boy defence or our lack or final product up top though.

The invincibles would of been 2-0 up when this happened and would of won anyway.

  10. From my POV

    1. It was handball

    2. Gervinho should have scored

    3. Szczesny was our best player

    4. Arteta played well, he played middle, up front and tracked back

    5. Ramsey gets bad press here. Even if he were to have scored the winning goal he still wouldn't have received the recognition

    6. We were holding our own until La Sagna was injured. Losing La Sagna worked to our detriment so we need not to be so reliant on just a few of our players. We need to buy in January!!!!!

    7. We had more possession but sadly that doesn't translate to goals. However we did play well and looked good at the passing game. Our attack wasn't as sharp as it could have been

    8. Spurs really picked up after the La Sagna incident and had more chances.

    9. 7 points from 7 matches. That's about as good as our level of performance last Spring so in terms of statistics, really nothing has changed. We are still relegation material. We'll probably escape but we may not even make the Top 6 or 7 at this rate.

    10. It wasn't entirely Arsene's fault today. He set up the team well but there are gaps that need sorting out now and we need beefing up in January.
