Looks like we’re all in on Rodon then.

@Dier Hard agree on Partey, from what little I’ve heard it could be a transformational signing for them as long as he doesn’t go all Tanguy on them for the first year. Hope they don’t get him haha. Wonder how big the release clause was?

Lyall Thomas claims it's close, but Ali Gold seems to think that we're interested but yet to make an offer.

Rodon > Sergio Ramos. Just sayin’

I think Partey will be huge for them if he settles. Should help them get 7th.

Had a good game against a Parrottless Millwall, apparently...

Joe Rodon would be a good signing. He has huge potential and is young. Even if loaned back for the rest of the season, it shows forward planning.

I think it shows a clear indicator of what will happen next summer. Dier is clearly one half of Jose’s first choice pairing. Toby is declining, will have 2 years left on his contract by next summer and will be 32. Dave will have 3 years left, turns 25 in June and hasn’t stepped up massively since joining us. One of them will be off I suspect. That would put us at Dier and JT for the LCB position and Rodon and Toby/Dave for the RCB position.

It’s an encouraging sign of forward planning, if we really are in for him.

credit to him though. He was a good con artist. I bet it was the same guy that was epllion last year - same avatar and everything.

still, he did a great job of putting legitimate info (that he’d copied) in 1 place. <ok>

He was good to the gullible <laugh>

Like I said the other day, follow Ally Gold, Dan KP and their equivalents of other clubs, throw in a few educated guesses and anyone can look a solid source.

I rate the guy though, reached 10.5k followers within about 8 weeks and people were even saying **** like "he said it before Romano!".

Honestly I love Twitter, it shouldn't be free <laugh>

It’s the best fake account I’ve kept an eye on in this window, and there’s been a few. I’ve learnt from previous windows, and like you say, there’s only a few journo’s worth following. He did an amazing job of following the right people and must have had account notifications on in order to tweet so quickly to make him look like he was “first”. And was incredible with his educated guesses. Bravo, kid!
It amazes me how there’s other “ITK’s” who don’t get any **** though. - some are typical SC bellends who are untouchable. Just don’t get it. They are just as unreliable/fake/cryptic as these accounts that pop up every window.

    Ah, the SC ITKs.

My only exposure to them was when looklikemodric (who
is/was very well connected to THFC personnel) went on there
and posted some real factual stuff about the club (which
caused a collective meltdown as they didn't know a tenth of it) . :)

I think the first red flag for me with Twitter ITKs is hiding behind fake names/ pics. The one guy who had decent Spurs info was a guy called Adam something, think he was Turkish as he was also a Fener fan but he seemed to have genuine stuff on Spurs, not just transfer related either, think he left Twitter though or went private. Then when these fake ITKs feel the need to say "I reported this first" and provide a date, that's another, if you're properly ITK you don't need to prove it, in time people will acknowledge your stuff.

There isn't one ITK these days that I can sit here and say is legit. One or two from SC have half decent stuff at times but I do feel a lot is just educated guesses.

If he ends up winning trophies with Arsenal, and you end up winning nothing as per usual, it'll be worth it. :emoticon-0103-cool:

I agree. At least he's had a few noticeable highlights in his career, though.
