I watched it also, what came across for me was his arrogance. If he had admitted it in the beginning things might have been easier for him, but the constant lies, he really dug a big hole for himself. What is a crying shame, is that he obviously was a talented rider, and if the sport had been clean, he probably would have won Tours anyhow. But the fact that more or less everyone was doing drugs, meant to compete you had to do the same. Neverthless a good documentary and well worth a watch.

Bizarre situation yesterday: Italy's Luca Wackermann was taken to hospital after a helicopter "flying too low" caused a crash near the end of stage four of the Giro d'Italia. Vini Zabu-KTM's Wackermann and Etienne van Empel both fell in the incident. Dutch rider Van Empel was able to get back up but his teammate was less fortunate. "Wackermann was sent to the hospital, he was barely conscious," team boss Andrea Citracca told Italian TV station RAI2. "The helicopter was flying too low, the movement of the air blew up the barriers. It is not clear if he has broken his pelvis. The barriers were not tied properly." It's been really good viewing the first 3 days of the Vuelta, unlike other years the GC racing has been started from the starting gun. However, there are grave doubts whether it will finish, the scheduled first 3 stages were cancelled, and now the brief visit into France with the finish up the Tourmalet has been cancelled, and one of the stages in Spain may have to be cancelled as the town where is starts has been put into lockdown. Anyhow, good to see Dan Martin will yesterdays stage and is now 5 sec & 2nd behind Roglic.
The Giro was a tad good yesterday as well, race and positions torn apart I wouldn't have fancied been on the Stelvio yesterday going up or down (or my complete lack of climbing ability...)
Interesting start to the Giro today, sensible decision to start from a different place.....Geoghegan Hart has come from almost no where to be well in with a shout here....be some story if Ineos and the UK can secure another tour this year

Dennis was immense yesterday.... it. just be galling for someone like him to know that given the support his name could have been the one in lights, trouble is he's 30... he's a time trial specialist and to blow the race yesterday on Stelvio shows what rider he is...
I was thinking two riders neck and neck on the final stage would be worth a watch, but I believe it finishes with a time trial on flat roads? Not quite so interesting, I may try to catch the climax I can see that it starts at 12.30, but not sure when the top few start? Roughly how long is the trial? Of the top two, who is the best time trialist?

TGH is a stronger tt rider, was a min quicker than Hindley on the previous tt stage a week and a bit ago
