A person who praises the management and players no matter what. (Unless it is constructive critisism from themselves.) A person who will abuse anyone who doesn't agree with their stand point, going so far as to twist words and actions to suit their argument. A person who lets their optimism run away with them, to the detriment of what they see with their own eyes. A person who criticises fellow fans for having an opposing point of view, yet sees nothing wrong in the criticism they hand out. A person who will blame the fans for whatever happens at the SOL, totally ignoring the fact it is what is happening on the pitch causing the unrest. A person who will say anyone who questions their deeply held beliefs are "negative" "bad supporters" and should go and support another team if they don't want mediocrity. A person who will happily slag off previous bad managers, as they deserved it! A person who will quite happily have a go at players they don't rate, yet don't see this as ironic. A person who will have a go at the crowd for voicing their opinion, yet see nothing wrong with being part of a mass groan when the same players make the same mistakes continually. So what is the opposite to Happy Clapper? Realist?
The only evidence I have seen lately on here of someone being critical of others for having a different opinion to themselves has come from you mate..
Only in defence, after being attacked mate. The only time I have been critical has been when Mackem attacks Mackem. Said this before point me to any post where I set out to attack a fellow Mackem. No one else seems to be able too.
I just feel that it is any fan who dares to support Bruce who seems to be getting termed as 'happy clappers' or worse, I don't see any similar comments the other way round...

Mackemsrule the OP is an attack on your fellow Mackems because we believe that you should support your team through thick and thin, doesn't make us happy clappers. I might not agree with Bruce's tactics and question his decision in private but in public whilst he is our manager he will get my whole hearted backing like the Lads will. I will never boo anyone associated with my beloved club.
Mackemsrule - although I'm not a fan of Bruce, the booing of him during a game with alot of time remaining serves no purpose (don't you agree?). Alot of what you are saying shows you are passionate but aren't you contradicting yourself in that you are criticising fans who criticise anyone with a difference of opinion to them so in effect you are doing the same? Anyway I get your drift but think we all need to take a step back (a bit like the team has!). I noticed that attendances have dropped and think the Bruce factor could well be the reason so if little old me can see this a shrewd business man like Short sure as hell will which could mean curtains for Bruce anyway.
The OP is a full on attack on any Mackem who dares to offer Bruce his/her support is it not? Do you see any contradictions here?
The OP wasn't meant as an attack, but to make a point! Please don't question my loyalty to SAFC, because I think Bruce is dire. My love for all things SAFC is unconditional, the players and manager have to earn that love. As for booing you're a better man than me. As in the 70s and 80s I gave the team and manager well deserved stick imho. Some of them even stepped up to the plate after getting stick and got cheered off. Swings and roundabouts. I don't subscribe to the its the crowds fault if players play badly, its the over paid players and managers fault.
Where is this happening I keep missing it? All I have seen is BOB's ( a derogatory term started with the sole intent of attack) answering politely under extreme provocation, when being called bad supporters, stupid, idiot etc.
Well I am as you say a happy clapper and therefore as your OP pointed out... Incapable of independent thought. So why don't you explain just what your point was as I find being called the opposite of a realist quite insulting.
The irony is you can't see the reason I posted it like this, there are numerous attacks on what you call the Bruce out Brigade. Like I have tried and failed at, is to get someone to point me too any of these threads abusing BIB's!
