It was only Les' ego that stopped him sacking Pellegrino much earlier, he honestly wanted to be known as the man that discovered Poch Mk II and he never wanted to admit that he royally ****ed up until it was almost too late.
It’s fine though because he was eventually dismissed and *checks notes* ...Appointed technical director of the FA.
This is good though for the fans... yesterday ... why can’t we sign one with PL experience Today.... why have we signed this player with PL experience ... Tomorrow.... why didn’t we sign any players? We’re great aren’t we
I'm all for it. Be nice having someone at a club he has an affinity to and cares about. Also, the main thing is he is still a decent player.
Link with DeAndre Yedlin on loan now! https://www.footballinsider247.com/...pen-talks-to-sign-newcastle-united-27-yr-old/
We just need Ralph to sprinkle some of his magic over Theo and return him to the player of about 8 years ago....
Finally, a player we've been linked to who I wouldn't take. My threshold might be a lot lower than most, but even I wouldn't take Yedlin. It would be like playing De Ridder at RB. Given the merchandise, advertising etc we could sell, we'd be better off signing Usain Bolt and playing him at RB.
Yedlin combines the attacking talent of an old-fashioned fullback with the defensive qualities of a modern winger. Stay healthy, KWP.
Possibly the worst in premier league history when you consider our club size and how much we have to spend. Pound for pound, I honestly can't think of a worse transfer. Maybe Falcao to united? But they probably at least made some shirt money back as he was a big name. Carrillo was just an utter, utter failure
What else are people expecting as loan cover for our first choice full-backs? He can also play higher up the flank.
