I'd take Walcott as an additional option.

He ain't a patch on Almiron though. Almiron is seriously talented I reckon. He just needs a manager to know how to use him. He needs freedom and if you had him and ASM playing with freedom to interchange behind Wilson, lots of goals.

However that will require some modern thinking...something in short supply at this club in the last 13 years.

Why would anyone want Walcott? If he can't get a game for Everton what makes him good enough for us?

We are really ****, Everton are really quite good.

Put it another way, Almiron and ASM pick up injuries. You can have Walcott warming up, or you can have Atsu or Murphy warming up? Even as an irishman with an appreciation for the name Murphy, you ain't gonna want that frog faced **** representing NUFC in the PL. Walcott is bang average but at least he's not Atsu or Murphy.

Yeah I see that but he's what early 30s,big wage and his best days are behind him, silly if it happens by weakening the team and bringing another bench warmer.I don't think he's good enough for us maybe the scousers or manure should buy him.

I'm assuming we are talking about loan? If we actually talking about paying a fee and being saddled with him, then no I'm not ok with that. I just have a strong desire to never watch Murphy or Atsu attempt to play football again.

Has Murphy murdered a member of your family?

You hate him more than I hate Hayden!

He's not a footballer. He doesn't even kick the ball properly. I'm sick of watching clowns like him or Yedlin. Its annoying because I knew kids growing up who were 10 times the footballer Murphy is.

I get you don't rate Hayden. He isn't good enough with the ball if we want to improve. But at least he kicks the ball like a footballer. Murphy and Yedlin almost look like they toe punt it. They just address the ball with zero culture. They can both run a bit. Whoopty ****ing doo.

Seems like the club know he'll be worth a packet so they've protected their investment to me.

Yeah, 6 years is a pretty healthy contract, so either way we hopefully get him for longer, OR a heftier price tag if he goes. Good business.
