How long do we think Bowyer will be given by the Great Dane ? Listening to Sandgaard’s comments during the commentary yesterday, I think he will back LB in January & expect nothing less than promotion this season in return. Rightly so, IMO. We are CAFC, and this is a piss hole of a league. Only the Charles Hawtrey lookalike on ITTV thinks we are on a “journey that will take 5 windows”. My prediction is that TS will fire Bowyer if we don’t get outright promotion this season. The Play Offs won’t be good enough, and new owners eventually tend to want their own man in charge.
Hawtrey "We are CAFC", ffs you'll be saying we are the Man United of division 3 next Regardless of what happens this season, short of relegation, Bowyer will be reassessed come October next season. Personally speaking I think Bowyer should be given two complete seasons.
The play-offs will be good enough if we win them. Bring on another Wembley Final against Sunderland!! (though COVID regs will doubtless ruin the occasion). I agree LB is under pressure to succeed, but that's not a problem. It's a good thing. We are free of Duchatelet and ESI now. We don't have to expect failure.
You can't put a time on it. He'll give Bowyer every chance, but it comes down to results in the end. A long losing run always has the same ending however long the manager has been with a club.
If Sandgaard is as football savy as he makes out, he should suss out how poor Bowyer is pretty quickly.
Bow has been so Loyal to us when he could have easily gone that I think TS (who seems a loyal boss as well) will give him at least 12 months. PS... if Bow goes then I can see Skipper and Steve Gallen following him plus probably the GK Coach.
He has only been loyal because nobody else wanted him. I'm sure if he had had offers elsewhere, he would have been offski quicker than Charlton not606ers on the ITTV forum.
That is just not true, he has had offers from other Clubs. Why are you so against Bowyer? Is it because he once played for West Ham? You Millwall fans are so Parochial.
Sorry Dicky, Not against him, just don't understand why you lot rate him so much. I didn't rate Neil Harris as a manager either, but he's much better than Bowyer!!!
Lol Your deluded Stone Island, spotty teenage army hounded Neil Harris out don’t forget, despite him being the most successful manager in Millwall’s history (with nil trophies). At least two Championship clubs have tried to lure Bowyer recently - Birmingham City & Bristol City. Millwall will follow suit when Rowett is fired after relegation.
How many times do I have to say this TC ... we are not the Leeds board ... you will have to work a lot harder than that!
