We've never finished lower than 8th since we came up from the second division, but of course we've been lower than that earlier in the season. There's a long way to go, but they just look lost atm.

Lamela stitched them up good and proper there - if they had anything about them they'd have got angry and fought back, but they just rolled over.

 

I missed the other possible sending offs that Souness was referring to. Was he right or was he just rubbing salt in the rather large open wound?

 

Shaw should have gone towards the end; lost his man (out paced) and he just hacked his legs away.

 

I find it funny that ManU keep focusing on getting these attacking players, Sancho/Cavani/Fernandes, when its clear that their central defence is utter ****.
Maguire is the most expensive average player going, Lindelof and Bailly are injured so much they never get into any consistancy and they still have Jones, Rojo and Smalling who are clearly not wanted.

Instead of chasing Sancho they could have gone and got Koullibaly and made a huge step to being a better defensive unit.

 

Whoever from Sky that didn’t book Keane for this game deserves to be sacked. Would have been five star TV
