I'd think it would have been an announcement from SD side, and maybe thought better of it after actually engaging their few brain cells.

I never been told it’s done mate

The last real update I got was it was going into the EFL stage, so In my Opinion it would of be on the lines of that

Hopefully we get good news soon! With it being on papers today makes me think it's now done! Bring on the announcement!

Cheers mate. If it's not GF and co i hope it's a group with a long term vision. I think changes have been noticeable over the last few weeks with bits of signings and contracts , so hopefully it's the new group giving the go ahead.

If it is done, they need to be clever and either spend some decent money and either get a young top player bought, or get a top class player on loan, obliviously this will need to be a pretty big outlay, but it's what's needed if we want to go up this season.

I’ll be worried if we don’t strengthen our attack before the window closes tomorrow

The 'news' only made people more keen to get Donald out and heaped the pressure on him even more.

There wasn't any previous torchlit processions through the streets or people asking their MPs to ask questions in Parliament before the news.

And as for the Saudis going along with a Mike Ashley masterplan to keep the Toon Army quiet <laugh>

Exactly I mean it's basic common sense isn't it?

It's like saying the best way to keep a bear calm is to keep on prodding it with a stick.

We can all see that we are desperate for a goal scorer so let’s hope it’s addressed

Fully agree FPP want the club and I’ve never stated anything different, but SD is being stubborn and not playing ball, hence why I was so adamant nearly 8 weeks ago, and still now when I said/say nothing was/is imminent, hence my original comment today regarding what I said originally about a lot of smoke and mirrors and untruths being released from within the club on the sky (just have to look at NB’s situation)

But everyone is aware there’s been interest from a number of parties. Problem is they haven’t reached SD valuation of the club. He said when he wasn’t wanted he’d leave... great statement... but what he meant was when he wasn’t wanted he’d sell for the price he wants... which is stupid as he’s been looking to sell from the day he walked through the door. Plus if he said there wasn’t any bids and the likes of FPP or Grays consortium broke ranks and said he’s lying and there is interest then he’d be battered even more from fans. This way, with a supposed fabricated ‘NDA’ in place he can control what’s been said (which is nothing as no one can talk), and no one can say anything as ‘he’s in talks with someone’... you see where I’m coming from now?

I think this times he’s not, he’s ready to go, we are on course to lose 8 million this year, I see a lot of people saying it won’t affect Donald, but if a company can’t pay its own way, the owner has to put his hand in his pocket to keep it afloat,

100%, but I still believe that SD is living in the dimension next to WS and believes that with the loan still remaining from FPP and potentially investment from another source (which will complicate everything) he can still cling on and clear £35m+ next year ince we are promoted and make a tidy profit...

He’s risking everything but I think he still thinks he can pull it off (which is crazy)

I'm not saying he should pretend there aren't bids if there are but that it'd be counterproductive to make up fake bids to try and keep the fans onside. The less attention the better.
