Why does Redknapp constantly have to be speaking to the press or TV about every subject in football. Recently he put his two pence worth in about the Tevez saga, now he's opening up the old wounds of Modric wanting to leave for Chelsea... again! Can't he just learn to shut up so that we can all move on? On the Sky Sports website today, he's stating that Modric leaving would have caused a mass exodus of players. Wasn't it he who suggested that he should go in the summer as it was bad for the team? Total hypocrisy. I'm not going to bother posting a link to the article. You can easily find it if you really want to read it. My point is... do us fans have to put up with reading an article in the press or see a video interview on the TV every week from Redknapp talking about issues that should stay behind closed doors? I want really football news, not crap that is only designed for his own agenda. It's getting ridiculous!
Redknapp does say too much to the media but I`d rather listen to or read about rentaquote Arry than watch diving cheats like Luis Suarez and disgrace to football Carlos Tevez.
Well you can't blame Modric for wanting to leave Chelsea, obviously it was a case of "it's not always greener"

I was convinced I saw him play for Spurs last week. 2 - Obviously not. 3 - I assume you are able to make your own choices so why not ignore Redknapp articles? 4 - See 3. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- King - I stopped reading when I found the poster who started criticising.... can't even count! Can everyone stop bashing the OP, please? He made a couple of mistakes in the article, but he's still a fellow Spurs fan. Harsh.
Thanks mate, at least someone can see sense. I forget to insert one word into my article (wanting to leave for Chelsea) and it gets leapt on. Pathetic.
Why not wait and give Harry a kicking when we are doing badly? You can't just pick the parts of a Manager that suit you, you have to take the whole package. I daresay the mancs don't like SAF's childish insistance on not talking the BBC, or QPR fans aren't fond of Warnock's ability to blame the world and his wife for a defeat, but never him or his team; It won't change and you getting upset about it is waste of time. If you don't like it, don't read it, or turn the TV off. Harry has, I imagine, the support of an overwhelming majority of us. He likes to talk to the press. Deal with it fella, you might as well complain that the sky is blue.
I doubt that Redknapp's aware of that though, Pat! He does seem to have input in virtually every other part of the media though, so who knows? Digital media might be his latest move.
I'm afraid Harry's comments are not in the same class as Shankly or Clough if they were it would not be an issue. Harry's often ill thought out kneejerk comments will continue to annoy some us whatever his results on the pitch. The media is full of boring ordinary comments from all sorts of self proclaimed experts. I don't seek them out but it is often hard to avoid them.
I don't know, Spurf. Clough did talk a lot of bollocks, too. Great manager, but I get the feeling that I'd have hated him in person.
