We’re sixth without playing anywhere near where we can, 1/4 final of a cup and we still have moaning fannies twisting on ffs.
We’re not Liverpool or Man City, lets just be happy where we are.

I'd say Ole be looking over his shoulder after tonight's result.

I still cannot work out how the **** we lost 0-3 to Brighton. Even playing poorly we should be able to draw. Weird.

You then flip it by drawing away to spurs undeservedly. We have got the required amount of acceptable points from the games we have had imho. The start to the season has been good in terms of results but poor in terms of performance.

Think it’s been more of a mixed bag with performances. We were decent to good against West Ham. We were poor against Brighton and Spurs but we’re decent to good tonight. We’ve had fortune with the points especially the point against Spurs but generally we are better placed than most would have expected.

When you looked at them 4 games at the start of the season how many points did u expect us to get? Most would say 6-7, a few would say 9 but not many I suspect. We have given ourselves a great platform to kick on.

6 or 7 for me. But they’re important points particularly when you look at the next few games.

The individually most important factor is Maxi. If he plays we have a chance. If he doesn’t then heaven help us.

I agree mostly. If we play it simple and players in their natural positions then we will be fine.

It’s when he (Sb) try’s to be clever and defend deep and sit back is when we come undone.

    Just let them play.

Burnley are terrible that's one major reason... They're in serious trouble. The players did seem to have a much better attitude than vs Brighton though and having Joelinton playing instead of Carroll improves the situation greatly. Joelinton is no £40 million player, but he's streets ahead of Carroll on his last 3 performances.

I thought we would have 3 point by the stage so I guess points wise we are doubt pretty well. The performances leave much to be desired though. Think we have some tricky fixtures coming up so we had better be braced for a hammering.

You can't be serious? 3 points from them 4 fixtures? If we got that return we would be nailed on to go down.

Burnley are daft. Club like that, if £40m appears for a player they need to take it and bring in 4/5 more. Bad top level management.

Were the opposite, £40m gets you any player plus one free.

I didn't think we'd get anything against West ham or spurs, would beat Brighton and struggle against Burnley. We are a decent side with the worst manager in the league. It wasn't an entirely off prediction at the time. The fact we did the complete opposite is a good thing. The performances I've seen kinda make my prediction seem less crazy

Thought the big difference was our shape was right from the start and we were harrying them in midfield. Thought Krafth was very good yesterday and Shelvey and Hayden had very good games in midfield. When Shelvey has time on the ball like that he creates a lot for the striker. You can see Wilson on the shoulder of the centre back looking continually for through balls.

Their midfield were having to sit deep as St Maximin was causing full backs and centre backs all sorts of problems.

Now have to come up with a game plan for the better teams.

I have to agree on krafth Manquillo has lost his place for sure.

I'm a little hesitant in accepting this 4 4 2 is a good option because Burnley play that way, but nobody else does... I'll be surprised if the other sides playing othe ways don't take advantage of us playing such a way.
