Thoughts on how late he makes the subs? Genuinely; I would rather make the first move and make them react. He seems a bit passive with the subs.

i don't get to watch every game so i can only go on highlights and what the guys see on here, but without a doubt he is woefully slow in reaction times when he can see its going wrong, and his tactics don't suit the squad, we had the same problem with Bruce, Wilkinson,Moyes and Grayson, we never chose the better ones only the yes men, Allardyce was the best we had, and working with the same people he had one window brought in the KKK and we were off which shows its the manager that makes a team gel or not that's my opinion anyway
but it couldn't be the wage cap as Charlton are in the same boat if not worse off than us, we not only had the loan money but a lump sum from England for our ex stars who play for them plus money for some sell on clauses. and a few sales we did on youngsters.
From what I understand the way it works.. you can have billions to spend but because of the wage cap you are only allowed to spend x amount regardless. Again, I could be wrong. They've just been taken over and been under a transfer embargo so wont have spent any money. Hence they could afford Maddison

bailey does seem to take control but i stick by what i said, we have not really been tested so far bar the odd 'flurry'...i still say we look a much more 'together unit' in general than for many a season...but the strikers (or a new one) need to start banging the goals in because at some point a team is going to decide to go gung ho on us and if that goes against us we really could struggle through the season.

Flanagan detractor here, as I have said before he has a mistake in him, his spacial awareness and defending set pieces is poor , after a shaky start he settled well into a back three which has to date been our most successful department so far. Having seen little of AX other than in the last U21 game in which he looked very tidy and good in the air, so maybe he will grab his chance just as Grant has under similar circumstances, as we need more than the first eleven to get us through this season. I also would like to see Graham and O'Brian now given a few starts, as they looked the best combination we have seen so far, and for the time being Grigg should be the alternative for Graham.

About Flanagan, its not his pace, its his awareness that lets him down at times and as he is in our last line of defence he gets caught out. My criticism is not of him, he has improved a lot this season, but with the coaching staff who should be drilling into the last line of defence, that with so many players bombing forward trying to grab the winner,( which we richly deserved ), those three center backs had to keep a high line, we didn't, and were lucky not to concede a sucker punch from a goalkeepers punt up field because of it. In my opinion Flanagan was let down yesterday, and he took one for the team, and probably saved us a point.
But he’s never catching that imo . Keeoer had a great starting position. Yellow, foul, but not a goal scoring opportunity for me I also think it was an accident. Thought there had to be intent.
