Wow Smedley+Massa were really up for ruining Lewis race lol, I love these videos.
Smedley: "Hold Hamilton as much as you can, destroy his race as much as you can, come on boy!" *After clash* Massa: "Got a puncture" *Changing tyres and nose* Hamilton: (Angry) "I can't believe it" *Hamilton serving drivethrough* Hamilton: (Monaco voice) "Of course I have a drivethrough..."
oh my that race summary edit was awesome! I like how the music increase tempo towards the end.. I can't believed I never checked the video page before! Gonna check all of them now. Thanks!
Smedley: "Hold Hamilton as much as you can, destroy his race as much as you can, come on boy!" because thats clever when Lewis is behind you Good race edit though.
And the little **** has the cheek to try and get up into Hamiltons face! Pretty damn sure that Hamilton has never driven just to ruin someones race, what a ****!
Massa got what he deserved then. He tried to ruin someone's race, so his race got ruined. Think you call that evens!
There is a difference between trying to hold someone up who is faster than you and hitting them and giving them a puncture.
Isn't it quite obvious that "destroy his race" meant "finish ahead"? They are in a fight for second place in the constructors championship Ferrari and McLaren. Isn't that what you are meant to do, destroy your opponents race by finishing ahead of them?
I think it meant. "Hold him up for long enough and he wont be able to pass Fernando" Nothing sinister.
Lol, when Schumi crashed and the Red Bull mechanic gasped, you could see him give a slight look to the camera
Wow I'm glad I got this out first because it looks like other Newspapers are writing about it now as well as other forums getting stuck in lol.
Nothing wrong with what Smedley says, the more they ruin Hamilton's strategy (within the laws of fair play of course) the more likely they are to jump him later in the race. Like Heidfeld did in Malaysia.
Agreed! Rocky said that to Seb when Alonso was behind him at Bahrain, told him to "destroy his tyres" nothing wrong with that chat in my opinion.
I agree that Smedley's 'phrasing' leaves something to be desired, hence why it can be perceived as not being in the spirit of fair play, but I doubt the actual intentions were malicious.
This is the bit I have a problem with. With this sort of attitude, the stupid driver will never learn. Something needs to be done and I hope the discussion between Whiting and the disgruntled drivers leads to action being taken against Hamilton - for his own sake. This isn't the first time the drivers have had discussions about Hamilton's driving: http://www.f1sa.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=7835&Itemid=9 http://formula-one.speedtv.com/article/f1-hamilton-defiant-after-drivers-meeting/
You got that ass about tit smedley said that after Lewis ruined Massa's race that's called payback, in other words getting even I'd do it and no mistake.
