If they want to throw back to peak Pochettino days we could help them reignite the Walker/Rose dynamic duo
Need a centre forward too they really should Hi-jack Cavani if he is really already heading for Manchester if only as payback for Berbatov all those years ago.
I see Kane ending up there, obviously be gutted to lose him but he would be the perfect fit for Man City
RE Hart, I guarantee you a journalist somewhere broke the news before they did though mate (OR a solid enough ITK on SC or elsewhere). They’ve been outed 3 or 4 times already but somehow their persistence has kept people jumping on the bandwagon. They even gave the “oh my source gave me the wrong info” line one time which was pretty funny. It’s a 16-17 year old kid who I’m almost certain was “king of the lane”, that’s just smart enough to look in the right places. Local journos like Ally Gold/ Dan KP etc are the absolute best journos to follow and there’s obviously other clubs who have their own ones like those two. So follow them, copy their stuff whilst throwing in a few educated guesses and in no time you’ll look ITK. They’re similar to that Epllion you and I spoke about a year or so ago. A high level fake, lol.
This is the genius of Pep and Man City, they identify the area that is weak in the team and then go out and rectify it with no messing about. It’s absolute genius I don’t know why other teams don’t copy them tbh
Something to do with 99.9% of clubs in world football not having the finances to go out and do that Having a bottomless pit of money is key to the "no messing about" part
That's good news they both need to be playing, hoping that Sess in particular gets plenty of game time and finds his form.
More than what they paid for him so good deal imo. I don’t think Foyth is suited to English football, maybe in the future he will be but a move is best for everyone
On the most basic, Football Manager side, it's not a bad deal as we'd make £14m on a player we paid £8m for who never got established in the team In terms of there being something other than money in football, my biggest gripe (other than what I've been saying for months, namely we should keep him as a right-sided Ben Davies and dump Aurier) is the odds are that there's a good chance he blows up in La Liga and a couple of seasons down the line he'll be a £30-40m centre back, which will no doubt be followed by various articles asking how we let him slip through our fingers
It’s just under double what we paid for him mate. Add in the likely loan fee and we probably will be getting double our money overall for someone who’s barely played. Most of us here will tell you we’ve ****ed his development though (just like KWP) and in a couple years he’ll probably be worth a lot more. Should’ve loaned him out a couple years ago, with more experience he’d have probably been in the XI by now when you look at how **** Dier and Toby have been.
