    FT 0-0

We are dodgy at the back and offer almost nothing going forward. Loads of overhit long balls.

Sunderland comfortable with only 10 men.

Amos made a great save. Aneke and Maddison looked lively.

    I'll settle for a point.

A depleted side against a team that will probably finish top 6.

Powderpuff. We look a poor side, I would say lower half of the table. We need RB, CB, two CF, I M

Agreed. That's 5 quality players needed by October 16th.

I understand our next league match now is against Wigan Athletic at the Valley on Saturday 17th.

    He's a disappointment.

His head was turned and now he's happy. We gave him his break but he's already forgotten us.
Well at least we've got the £2m and a fortnight to spend it on players who'll give us 100%...

Difficult to find too many positives today.

Amos was good, Famewo did ok, and we got a point.

Sandgaard was very jocular in the commentary box, although I don’t see that jocularity lasting for long if these performances continue.

The excuses culture needs to end quickly now & 5/6 new players are urgently required in the building before the next league game.

It feels as though we have written off the opening four games.

Our next league game is on the 17th October. One day after the EFL transfer window closes.

We have a fortnight to get in 6 more quality players (absolute minimum 5) and then give them a week or two to bed in.
By the end of October we should be seeing our strongest XI until January showing us what they can do.

That's about as positive as I can be regarding our short term future.

We know we’ve got a threadbare squad and TS has only owned us for just over a week , give it a bit of time before morphing into Reams

Still enough time this week to have signed a RB at least. The excuses (justified) run out in two weeks time.

Exactly that , we all thought we’d lose today but we knicked a point , we now have two weeks to do some business. I genuinely believe we’ll be ok

Did you catch Sandgaard's comment that the midfielders needed to show more? He knows a bit about the game. Sunderland's players supported each other far better than ours did.
