......And there I was thinking that you lot have been trying to convince me that our leftback was O'Gilvie ...... it certainly wasn't O'Givile ! .... now you're telling me that it was somebody else called ....... O' xxxxxx ( I'm not sure how to spell Connor ) ps - O'Connor needed to play at leftback -- because O'Gilvie was nowhere near that position ( when he was needed ! )
1-0 down, absolute joke, the referee has no control of this game. Foul on O'gilvie, then the carry ons in the box, right in front of the ref. Fair enough Shrews more clinical than the many chances we've had, but our lads are getting lumps taken out of them.
Giving the ball away cheaply and losing the aerial battle, not a good first half. and a shot on target would be a good start in the 2nd half.
I think we allowed them to upset our momentum with their tactics, and the ref allowing fouls to go unchallenged. I think we are strong enough to win this, but there's that man in black causing us the majority of our problems. Some good connecting play by O'Connor and Graham early on. Poor goal we gave away though.
Despite the commentary view, I felt we deserved that point today. Never looked like winning it, with a poor show from Oliver and Samuels (last weeks MOM pairing) in my honest opinion, but great work from Graham, Eccles, O'Connor (why was he substitued) in the main. We seem to be too top heavy up front and cumbersome.
3rd best if you count a much more watchable IPL game ( had it on my Tablet )...... can't understand why Mrs Alwaysright calls me sad !
