Yes - he crossed the ball ok but no one there to compete for it.

Says a lot that Murray isn't on.

Can't see us scoring. Solid defence Reading.

They get back well and are physical.

Sarr been handled by their defence.

Sarr off. He was beginning to look a bit lost.

Not our day. Wycombe have a late equaliser disallowed at Luton - who go up the other end and score...

We played some really nice football but it was not very effective, not really sure why we did not win this game.
I didn't think Reading were that good, once they got ahead they were well organised defensively.
I can see progress and if that continues we should beat many teams.

Ah well - two weeks off, maybe a goalscorer will appear on the horizon for us during that time.

Drab second half, Reading ran out comfortably in the end.

They looked much more dangerous in attack and defended well with ease really.

No pace or creative play for us.

Dominated Sarr/Pedro and midfield was ineffective.

Even though he was only on for ten minutes or so, I don't think Murray is the answer to our lack of firepower. Perica has one more match to miss - if Deeney and/or Gray leave before the end of the window, I can't see us getting anything against Derby. And I'm not sure about Perica having never seen him play...

I know we're in a lower division, but I still think that we're performing better as a team than we did last season.

Don't think Gray will go - might be fit for Derby.

I think that against some teams we might score plenty of goals even without a recognised striker. Reading are a well organised side and after a nervous start by their defenders they stopped the supply lines to our forwards. There was a lot of promise in the side, but we look a bit lightweight up front. Looking at Sarr today I doubt that any mega bids will come in for him.
