Father Christmas spent 3 years doing his apprenticeship in Plymouth.
    He passed with flying colours.

I must be the only one on here who has a part of Plymouth named after me!

Just hoping for a win, I'm fragile after last season, every game in this league will be different. Yes we are a big club in this league but that means nothing to the others in fact it spurs them on. However new squad hopefully got rid of players who don't want to be here, new hope good start let's maul these and who ever else gets in our way.

I've got Plymouth for dark horse play-off contenders, and city for 15th. Should city win handsomely, I might have to reverse that prediction.

Which Hull born player played for Plymouth when they reached the semi final of the FACup losing to Watford at Villa Park, who lost to Everton in the final?

Well there’s a first. Never come across that last name before. You should do one of those searches to trace the origins of your last name. I did one. There fascinating. Yours should be easy to find information about as I don’t think there are many in the world with a last name of City Centre....

Thought it could have been Jeff Hemmerman but Gordon Staniforth who did well after leaving us.
Anyone remember Andrew Staniforth ? Malet Lambert school. one appearance, one goal and then released. March 1985.

Gorgeous Gordon Staniforth did indeed play for Plymouth.
I knew Gordon from my time working in York.
Great guy. One hell of a character.

3-2 City win, 20 minutes of tension at the end as we pick up an extra 4 yellow cards holding onto the lead...
