I think Warburton would pick Amos ahead of Liverpool's midfield! I was just musing about a 3-5-2. It's really the only way to play two centre forwards unless we play 4-4-2.
Seemed to recall him playing that role at some point last season. Been a bit disappointed with Chair although season only just started
Chair is still young and under Warburton will improve. He needs to be able to roam in a proper No.10 role for us to see the best of him. That is why we need that strong pairing in defensive mid. The last two cracking players we had in that role are Eze and Adel and both were allowed the freedom to express. He will come good as he doesnt seem to have a confidence problem yet and there are no fans to get on his back.
Agree,3-5-2 would be my choice. I'm Hoping for once,that we don't give a team that's bottom, or struggling a helping hand as we always seem to do. Come on you R'sssssss!
Presumably BOS plays up front in the 3-5-2 where he’s never looked effective. If Manning is unavailable you’re asking Brooks from Shawshank to do a lot of work on the left.
Not sure they’re struggling Deano, they effectively have 4 points the same as us (DWLL). Last two losses against Bristol and Foolham. Won’t be easy win to achieve, but would be great to go away and get the win while it’s still a game a week. Wondering if Bonne will play or come from the bench (which I think will be likely). Come on R’s ... and please PLEASE no defensive shenanigans this week - just be boring and effective please; also hoping for a solid ‘keepers game for his confidence. Oh ... and as it’s nearly Christmas can we please put in some good crosses into the box as the ‘norm’. Oh ... and a clean sheet (OK, OK .. sorry!!!).
I'm not sure it is. I was musing on possible options, but BOS would have to play wing back or as a centre forward. I think I prefer 4-2-3-1.
A good option, but I would really want Kakay on the pitch. I had forgotten the Finn, who doesn't look like he is going to get a chance. Hopefully he will today!
