Luckily players will be staying in their normal surroundings within their clubs and team mates, so it won't spread beyond that. No one would schedule pointless international games allowing players to travel worldwide mixing with different squads
Do you feel the same about the champions league? Surely you mix with different squads when you play a contact sport for 90 minutes anyway.
Should just end it now and announce us as winners, cos we won last year. Only logical thing to do really. To save lives yeh
Yes. It's not been fully agreed yet. There's another meeting scheduled to decide the amount of games needed to be played for ppg to be the deciding factor. Initial discussions was around the 27 game mark. Otherwise season would be null and void. No relegation. No champions etc. Season to be scratched from the history books and start from fresh next time around.
Big difference from being constantly surrounded by teammates in training, hotels, eating together etc. I imagine the risk of transfer during a match is quite limited. At least within your club its a relatively closed circuit, but going to mix with international team mates just seems ridiculous to me
If it happens then hopefully it will be after we've dropped back in the bottom 3 Can't see it though, the PL will plough on imo. Think the EFL might be different as they're not forced to regularly test like the top flight are.
@astro What's going on with your team/squad mate? All these positve COVID tests, aren't your club educating/guarding the players
