He's certainly coming out fighting, but until the side creates chances vs a premiership club he's got to accept criticism. I only want us to win because a relegated Newcastle can’t and won’t be sold. New owners will be under no illusion. Even Bruce knows - and I’m astonished by how well informed he is of people’s feelings towards him. He’s far too soft for this game.

If you’re really trying to change you do it right at the start and deal with early pain for long term gain. All Bruce did was put Willems on out of position, then create chaos by being unclear. It’s not really improved much since. If this seasons “tactics” of 4-4-2 is the answer then I’m not sure I want to know what the ****ing question is.
