Do you think so? I wouldn't have said that. I think the confrontation ruined him, not the person it was directed at, it could have been anyone. It happened to be Klopp and his staff. Lampard hasn't been the same since.
Another casualty of Chelsea's summer spending. Barkley off to Villa on loan https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/54352181
No. I’d say it’s completely irrelevant to him, it happened, he apologised later and that was that. I don’t think incidents of that nature ‘ruin’ anyone in football. I’ve no idea how you can conclude that he’s been tangibly different since, unless you’re somehow trying to posit the notion that a crossed word with Klopp somehow impinges on his team selection choices and tactics months later.
He didn't apologise to Klopp, he apologised for swearing because he has two daughters who use social media and they saw and heard his heated exchange. I'm sure Klopp couldn't care less about an apology. Lampard's losing it, as further evidenced last night. Nobody's ruined him, it's self inflicted.
He’s a young manager learning his trade, the pressure is now on him and it remains to be seen how it pans out for him in the longer term. There seems to be a lot of vitriol towards him from a lot of fans of rival clubs, that I don’t quite understand tbh. I’m ambivalent about him, he’ll either go on to be a great manager or he won’t, can’t say I care either way tbh.
tbh i thought he was starting to look better at the back end of last season and with regular games may come good .
@Diego will be on here any second now when he realises that there’s more action on here than on the pitch in a red shirt in Brighton
Brighton showing how difficult holding the high line is, takes nerves of steel. One lad breaks and its pointless

Seeing Brentford hammer Fulham makes me question the playoff format. Surely now is the time just to promote the top3 and actually get the 3 best Championship teams in the PL.
yes it is but thats from the premier league's perespective. The football league likes play offs to keep interest going all season. Its usually even possible to go on a run from feb and scrape in there. from the Championship's perspective play offs are vital IMO
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp's 'concern' over international break Firmino (left) Alisson (centre) and Fabinho have all been called up by Brazil Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says he is "slightly concerned" about his players travelling to play for their countries amid the Covid-19 pandemic. Klopp will lose his international players after Sunday's game against Aston Villa before they return for Premier League action on 17 October. "I don't want to sound disrespectful about how other countries are doing it," said the German. "But this is the place that we know and we know how we are dealing with it." Klopp added: "So I am slightly concerned because it is difficult to be in contact with all FAs [football associations] all over the world. "I understand it, I really understand how difficult the situation is but it's not exactly perfect, the information we get from certain FAs." Liverpool trio Alisson Becker, Fabinho and Roberto Firmino have been selected to play for Brazil, who face a home game against Bolivia before a trip to Peru for World Cup qualifiers. The Reds' first game after the international break is the Merseyside derby against Everton on 17 October. "We send the players away and then we have another challenge because we have to play a Premier League game on a Saturday after they have travelled from, maybe Peru, on the Thursday or Friday," said Klopp. "You have to make sure you bring the players home in the quickest and safest way and then we have to see how they are before we try to get a result on the Saturday." https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/54393678
