I thought that at first but reading it again I think he's saying that if we sign any more young players they've got to be better than the ones we've already got.
Hmm, I will give him the benefit of the doubt perhaps, but Wyke should have been sold and Graham not bought, as i agree with him there is no answer to pace ( as in almost every sport)
I don't think he said that in the press conference - quite the opposite. He has stated that the youngsters are ahead of McGeady but need to show in training that they deserve a place in the starting 11. However up to now what he says about giving the young uns a chance has failed to be seen in the team selection. I don't like Bowyer either but he talks a lot of sense about this league - despite the accent.
Quietly confident about this one. I'm going for a 1-2 win with Wright and Onien to get the goals. HTL
On Saturday, the club will introduce a brand-new commentary team on the SAFSee platform, with Frankie Francis and Danny Collins, hosts of SAFC Unfiltered, taking you through all the action as it happens throughout the Lads’ Sky Bet League One campaign. This follows a five-figure investment in streaming infrastructure during the build-up to the 2020-21 campaign, to ensure the service runs smoothly for supporters across the world despite the increased demand. SAFC is also delighted to announce a new multi-year partnership with Low6, which will be spearheaded by the launch of an official mobile application, developed by the premier professional sports app vendor, Yinzcam. With over 90 million downloads, Yinzcam’s stable of clients ranges from 24 NFL teams, including the Super Bowl LIV-winning Kansas City Chiefs, 21 NBA franchises, from the LA Lakers to the Chicago Bulls, and La Liga, as well as a plethora of other sporting powerhouses. The club’s partnership with Low6 will also include the installation of WiFi within the Stadium of Light to ensure that when supporters do return, they can engage with the club on matchdays like never before.
Fancy what will look like a comfy win, but it will be anything but. Goals in the 2nd & 92nd will seal a 0-2 win. Bart
Good luck Sunderland.. Ha'way the lads.. No work for me tomorrow now so may look for somewhere to watch it. Not sure how this will work though as my son who I would normally come with me now lives in another house..
If the front three tomorrow, play well enough to be re-selected ( not a bad shout RTB ) for the following game, I will feel much more confident about Parky and the season ahead. OaU
being flatly honest, i do not particularly care who starts up front as long as at least one of them starts taking those chances...could hoy bennet and nick on for me as long as they score.
if Parky picks Wyke up front?... Hmm, i have been discussing elsewhere climate change deniers... now if Parky does pick Wyke does that mean he reckons Wyke is a good striker dispite all evidence to the contrary ? Do I cough up cash to watch this on stream? I might wait till I see the team?
This is a funny game to predict - and l don’t mean funny ha ha. A) I go to the usual default position of a draw away from home against a club likely to be in the wash at season end. B) Heart says this is a good time meet them as they have injury probs (on & off the field) C) But, sh;t this is SAFC. Which attitude is going to walk onto the pitch ??? B::gger it 0 - 2 to the lads.
