Sent out on loan to the Dutch 2nd Division. He's clearly not going to make it, what's the point?

2nd division? Their top division is dogshit, so what's the 2nd division? A load of local pub teams?

Well here's another one that got hyped up but never made the grade, like when Harris Vuckic was hailed as one the best prospects in Europe, but a couple of years later struggled to make the Rotherham bench.

I think the sqaud size is above 25, so it's a case of finding them somewhere they can play rather than get no number. Business is done, so it's not to clear space for a replacement.

Personally I'd rather play him than Carroll... I rather play Barlaser than shelvey.

By the time Bruce moves on the entire squad is going to be packed to the rafters with finished players...

Would he need to be part of the 25 man squad? Think he's 21 and would class as homegrown. It's clear he's not going to make it so why send him out on another pointless loan

I'm not sure, but I bet he would run rings round Andy Carroll already, but our managers a complete *****

Don't know he didn't even get a game for League 2 sides. Saying that, neither would Carroll

Carroll really isn't good enough to be a professional footballer at any level these days.

Bruce signed him though, so there's no chance of him being let go.... Bruces idea of changing things has been as follows

1.Dismantle the cb partnership rafa preferred
    2. Dismantle the cm partnership rafa preferred
    3. Change to 4 4 2, so he can accommodate his signing of Andy caroll and remove Almiron from his plans.

I've reached the conclusion Bruce is so desperate for recognition that he's dismantling anything that could still be attributed to his predicessor.

21 yr old so his time certainly isn't up, but you'd have to think he has fair way to go with this move.

Yet he's done all that but still crowing on about Rafa and how he set the team up. Saw a great point on Twitter earlier that Rafa had us playing 5 at the back for the last 5/6 months of his reign - not in his stint in the relegation season, not in the championship and not straight after having come back up - because he had not been backed or given the players he needed.

Not a Rafa fan boy - in fact I still blame him partially for this current mess as he started this **** of playing deep and countering - but I would like to see him back coaching a back 4 with the attacking talent we have now. Bar Almiron there's a new front 4 to select from who'd be able to give him a lot more going forwards. Wilson, Fraser, Joelinton and StMax would have given him some decent fire power to work with.

Yep, I remember getting annoyed because Rafa would ALWAYS stick with 4-2-3-1. He had for over a decade. Then when the squad kept getting worse equipped to deal with the PL, he had to go back 5 to stop us taking whippings.

Bruce is talking utter ****ing crap. What might be the case is that some players may be used to getting tactical instructions, with possibly too much rigidity, and as such they've had the school playground aspect of football coached out of them. If you're then relying on cabbage-heed for detailed gameplans every week, it aint going to happen. You're going to be stuck in a 4-4-2 and told to "gerrout there, have fun and play".

It's still 1994 in Bruce's head. Newcastle's cavalier 4-4-2 couldn't quite topple Man U's dominant 4-4-2. 25 years later, he's doing the same **** on repeat. I mean "two up top" isn't ****ing attacking, it's ****ing stupid, because you're not influencing a game from in between the lines. I'm not even good on Football Manager and I know that much, how can a PL boss - no matter how moronic - not see that? If someone had offered me Graham Potter a year or two ago I'd have been embarrassed. But Potter knows how to manage in the PL. Bruce simply doesn't and he'll just take us down, eventually, unless we get the moron out.

The guy an absolute donkey... The clubs got very few good players, but they've gone out and bought in the players to suit a 4 2 3 1 system.. If he plays it he can get all those few good players in the 1st 11...weve got no proper old school wingers in the squad either so 4 4 2 is a moronic plan on top of the reason I've just mentioned. I mean ffs I'm actually hoping someone out there can explain to me why 4 4 2 makes any sense? because I really want us to stay up
