To be fair and balanced on Southgate. The last squad was a mess, but this is much better. I’m guessing he has been permitted 30 players because it’s for 3 fixtures, or is this a provisional squad?
After Tuesday night's distasteful night, re Trump, I might just find some love for Glasgow Rangers after all. Not my first choice in Scotland by a long way, but I have to give them great crédit for putting to the sword a technically better team tonight. Put away my tribal instinct, and to experience Ibrox would be wonderful, from the stadium, the fans, and then extend that to the whole city.
I believe in current circumstances, only the match day squad has to be limited to 23. He is free to have more than that in the build up and can chose his 23 specifically for each of the three games - not 100% certain on that last point though.
Absolutely the worst time for the Forest manager to have an international break I would presume. Because he probably won't be ending it as the Forest manager. 2-0 down at home, and facing seven straight defeats and no wins in 11.
Great win for Sholing all the way down in windy Cornwall yesterday to go into the hat for the FA Cup 3rd Qualifying Round (equalling their best ever run) Their very own goal machine called Dan bagged a hat-trick.
I despise them as a club but would love to visit Ibrox. A beautiful looking stadium. Will hopefully go someday but would need to be away end
Tammy Abraham, Ben Chilwell and Jadon Sancho all breached Covid rules by attending a party on Saturday in London. Was a surprise party for Abraham’s 23rd birthday apparently. Wonder if they will be removed from the squad like Foden and Greenwood?
Hate is a powerful emotion and cuts you up. If you can look at Rangers objectively, then the dislike dissipates. They have a lot of resolve beating teams in Europe that are technically better, a lot of stored up passion as they seek their first title in what, 10 years? And as we have said, that wonderful Archibald Leitch stand. Plus passionate fans. If they could take away their sectarian bias, and give Scottish Independence more vocal and visual support, that would be wonderful.
I would be looking through very different glasses with my background to yours but the long history of not signing Catholics and their fans hatred of anything Irish makes them a club to like very little about ...bar their stadium and having some cracking kits throughout the years! In saying that I have little time for Celtic either
Good appointment. If I was a betting man I’d have a little go on them going up. Currently in the bottom three
