Hello Ak that first pen decision was truly shocking, the second was a stonewall pen!

I have to correct myself and taste humble pie, but it was a pen mate. If you check out the picture i posted you see an arm out stretched, it is Eustaces. It is twisted the wrong way for it to be Lambert's, but Lambert is jumping all over Mirfin and has his hand round his neck so its hard to see why its not a Watford free kick. Thats the only question we can have.

Afternoon all, just surfaced after a very long day out - had a couple on the train to Waterloo, had a couple in London and then went out with Mrs W_Y and we didn't get in until 02.30, so feeling a bit jaded today. Apart from the football, had a great day out yesterday...one of the blokes we were with yesterday was the fella that has been to over 2000 consecutive Watford games - that means he has not missed a league or cup game, home and away for over 38 seasons, absolutely outstanding!

Care to explain?? I agree in that you should not give the HB if you wont give the free kick our way. But thats the rub of the green.

I was planning on writing some thoughts on yesterdays game ,however there arent many ways of dressing up the fact that we were easily outclassed and outwitted!:( Well done to the saints!

Gilmartin seemed to have a problem catching the ball and did flap at a few crosses , did make one stunning double save in the second half!
Jenkins seems to only pass backwards when a decent attacking throughball is whats required!
Yeates has the right idea but is so slow!
Forsyth seems to have problems co ordinating his legs!
Soredell seemed very disinterested in proceedings to the point of lazy!

Hogg looked ok but took a couple of knocks and that slowed him down up to point he was subbed!

Our play was laboured and predictable , we lack vision and a cutting edge!
Only positive was we took a few fans to that match!

We had a major rebuild over the summer , but it seems we have built the foundations on a swamp!
Ak yep there is a hell of a lot improvements that need to be made! Whether Sean can do it remains to be seen!I hope he can and quickly! I do fear for our championship status the way things are now!

Looks like a few journo hacks will be wiping some egg of their faces this afternoon - looks like fat-boy Lampard is not quite as over the hill as they thought!

The BBC had a note that Piero Mingoia had a knee injury and, I think the name was, Lee Hodson was out
