    Since they changed it so only champions are in pot one, put two is always the strongest group of teams.

    Europa league winners shouldn't be pot 1.

    Its hard to argue against league champions though, as it gives Porto and Zenit a better chance. Although pot 2 teams will be desperate for them.

    We will get Athletico Madrid, Olympiacos ( we always get them if they are available), and Locomotiv Moscow, as we always have at least one ridiculous trip just before we play a top four Prem team two days later!

    Don’t quite understand how the last 2 teams to draw were united and city. When united were drawn they could only go into psg group... so city then went into Porto.

    why couldn’t united be drawn against Porto and city in psg?

    Apparently they've paired certain teams from the same country so they can't play on the same game day.

    It means, for example, that we can't get Dynamo kiev as Shakhtar are in our half of the draw
