Still think we need strengthening in the full back areas Doc.

Yes we have some potential in the U23's, so that's good but what's the answer if Ayling picks up a long term injury and/or Dallas gets skinned every week ?

There is no doubt that left back will have to be addressed at some point.

    Afternoon all...

I like the third Maroon shirt, I like it better than the green stripe shirt and it’s only our generation that carries a hate for red because of Man U.

We need new support, we’ve been out the top flight for 16 years meaning any new supporter up to the age of 16-24 will have no idea of old rivalry.

Have none of you ever wore red in your clothing before? No red patterns, checks, underwear, ties, nothing? What about when Man U wore white?

Well it's not just because scum are associated with that colour, I just don't like the colour and of course as a child may have been dressed in that colour, but then again I would have had no choice. As for an older generation, I've sons from 20s to mid thirties and they feel the same way. I couldn't care less what colour scum wear TBH. Also our home and away kits have been white and yellow respectively for many many many generations. I'll say it again, IMO it looks ****e, I know why the club have done it, but it still doesn't mean it looks nice. As for not knowing the rivalry, well surely that's what parents are for, to actually tell their kids about the rivalry. <ok>

Kalvin made the England squad again. His other midfield partners are Henderson, Winks, Rice. Looks like we are going for 0-0 again then.

I'd love to see Bielsa take charge of England, just for one game to see how differently he'd approach setting the team up. After a short stint of playing exciting football that played to the strengths of Sterling etc we have reverted back to the traditional "English" way of playing. Gerrard and Lampard will be getting called back up next.

According to the Kit Chart in my office, Red was introduced in 1970-71
