My cameo continues. I'm going to be seriously hacked off if I have to do a whole season of these. Sunday, High Noon, Ralph "Gary Cooper" Hasenhuttl will take on the Frank Miller Gang of WBA in a fight under the desert sun. Will it be time for our hero to shine or will those thugs beat him? And will Grace Kelly shoot a WBA player in the back just like in the film when you think all hope is lost and you cry with joy that she's come back to save her husband; that her doubt proved momentary and was overpowered by love? (Yes, it's a spoiler but it's sixty eight years). Will it be a happy ending and will Ralph ride off into the sunset?
Referee: Chris Kavanagh. Assistants: Daniel Cook, Sian Massey-Ellis. Fourth official: Kevin Friend. VAR: Paul Tierney. Assistant VAR: Dan Robathan. We don't want any Vindaloose
I can hear it now in May on the return to St Mary's for all the fans. 33,000 there to witness JWP lift the Premier League trophy and the chant: "There's only one Onionman, one Onionmaaaaaaan, there's only one Onionman" Vin is our saviour. Welcome back (again).
Buzzing already for this. Gutted we have to wait for a game until Sunday, it seems like ages now after a relentless run of games
Still not seeing Salisu in the recent training photos. Theres got to be something else going on other than fitness that they are keeping quiet about him. Far from ideal when CB is a position we needed sorting as a priority.
Hes been spotted once or twice. And you don't think that strange for a new signing? They are usually paraded about as much as possible. We signed him over a month and half ago. And that was presumably already after he had been quarenteening for 2 weeks given what went on. I would think he should be at least on the same training sessions with the first team by now and even possibly making the bench. . Pure speculation or has there been rumours about that? Its very possible and that would come under me speculating that there must be something going on other than fitness.
The Ghana national team are in on the cover up too... https://ghanasoccernet.com/ghana-co...u-was-dropped?amp=1&__twitter_impression=true
If he's not back after the international break, I'll worry. Until then I won't. He posted pictures of him training on his Instagram stories today.
When we first signed him Ralph said he hoped he would be ready after the October internationals. Nothing has changed.
By which case I'd have thought he should have already been back in full training with the first team by now. But I'm clearly the only person who thinks that his absence is unusual so I'm sure I'm wrong as usual.
It’s a new day way Saints have found to keep us on tenterhooks. Buy a player and then hide him from us. He’s going to be really fit when he pops out. Ralph-Ready that is
He is a 21 year old CB - if Ralph threw him straight in to a system he had never played or trained in before and he went on to make costly errors (pretty likely) - you know fans would be right on his back and his confidence would drop dead. For the sake of 5/6 games it makes sense to give him time to improve fitness and learn the system - if it improves his chances of being a success at Saints then it is a no brainer!
Common sense and logic doesn't always work on this site. I'll put my trust in Ralph and his support staff.
