Well, I was furloughed from April, was given my notice of redudancy last month, but I'm paid on furlough until October end & my redundancy goes in then also.

Anyway, I've recently applied to work for Sports Direct (I know) & a call centre through Seaham.

    Beggars can't be choosers sadly.

I’ve heard the call centre money is good mate but you need a thick skin.

I didn't take work home with me in my previous job, if a customer is "annoyed" with me...well it'll stay at work.

Can't be letting work affect your personal life now. ha

I do understand a few people its hard to deal with problematic customers, I mean I worked at McDonald's (Yeah laugh it up) years ago and when customers who were annoying came in and I had to deal with them, I just imagined in my head the worst possible thing to happen to them but being nice and serving them.

Damn....I might have something that may need to be dealt with ha

Aye I can, it is just my self confidence that lets me down at times. Experience breeds confidence in my books though.

Don't know if it's been mentioned, but Amazon will be opening that whopper of a centre near Bowburn soon, if they haven't already.

Again, not perfect, but I know a couple of people whose son's work at different centres, and they like it . Bit casual initially, but if they like you and you like them it gets more settled. Room for promo as well it seems. From what they have said, it gets a far worse press than it should.

Well that's one skill to get under your belt mind K. Don't like it mesell, but it's crucial really. They keep taking people on their lists anyway at Amazon btw, so.......
