Must admit I've never heard of him.

But won't LB & SG know something about the lad? He won't have just dropped out of the sky on us at random I assume.

As @Appalling Rug has mentioned, we need another striker who can hold the ball up.

Very harsh Smudge, 1 in 3 ratio last season was very acceptable after he jumped three divisions.

It looks as though Ronnie Schwartz could be joining us.

A 31 year old Danish Centre forward. It could be a shrewd piece of scouting, or maybe the club making use of its new Danish links.

We urgently need a decent hold up man before the Sunderland game, as well as a fox in the box. Washington looks like a 4th striker to me. Bonne is stinking the place out at the moment. If he isn’t scoring he offers nothing to the team.

I would cash in on Dillon Phillips and Bonne now. Use the money on bringing in a goalscorer. Lots of Clubs are in perilous financial position and a decent offer might work. I also think that The Dane will be coming in.
While we are at it we are desperately short of some flair in midfield.

I would keep Dillon & sell Bonne, Oztumer, Oshilaja & Purrington.

I see you had a pop at your favourite player on CL <laugh> naughty Dicky doesn’t like the Welsh Wizard.

I would like him if he actually did something. If he can't get into our side at the moment he must be playing badly.

My QPR mate is a good judge of a player. He told me back in January that Matt Smith was useless (correct) & his view on Washington was that he was slow, clumsy, and needed 5 chances to score 1 goal.

Bowyer has come out and said that they can only bring in three players and that will put them up to the salary cap limit. They are looking to bring in three under 21s as well who don't count.
There are two candidates for the right back position Adam Matthews and someone else. He also said that they might leave two transfer positions open and till later on in the window.

A bit of juggling around but they have brought in some decent players. I trust them to get it sorted.

No complaints - it’s a position that we are desperately weak in.

If we can presently only bring in three players, why not shift some of the poorer players we have now, to make way for more?

I know it's a bit late in the window now, but we still have until the 16th October.
Somebody wanted Bonne didn't they? Get rid, before they notice his performances and change their minds.
If offers come in for any of our other also-rans just ship them out this week.
Then we've got almost a fortnight to fill their wasted spaces with decent players.

Maybe the likes of Vennings will go out on loan. I would definitely keep Albie Morgan ahead of Lapslie, but Bowyer appears not to rate him. The problem with shifting the deadwood if they are under contract is another club wanting them ....

Levitt seems a similar sort of player to Morgan. I can't see Albie getting much of a look-in, which would be a shame, at his age he needs games in order to improve, and it would be better if he went out on loan, made a point to Bowyer then came back. He was given a 3-year contract this year, so Bowyer must see something there.

There will be no signings today. Marcus Maddison is one of the players we are interested in. Also we are keen to get a deal done for Macauley Bonne, QPR are interested. If we sell him we will bring two forwards in.
