I imagine this will be suggested as soon as TS gets the deal done. From my observation there are three front runners. Nick Grey, Rick Everitt and Wayne Dodger. Mr Grey doesn't seem to like many of his fellow fans but he does have the fear factor, and that is a poerful tool. Mr Dodger has a hero type following plus is well in with TS. Mr Everitt is respected for his previous good work but may look weak to some because of his refusal to condone verbal or physical attacks on those associated with the present goings on. I'm not really a fan of any of them, but through knowledge alone I'd have to go for Mr Everitt. Please feel free to add your own choice, and please, no more name guessing as it spoils serious dialogue. Cheers Derek Monday
Personally I'm not really a fan of having a supporters' representative on the CAFC board or at the Club. If we do end up with one, I would prefer it not to be a high-profile name from any faction or organisation. If a relatively unknown (non-political) fan cannot do the job, then the position itself is not valid in my view. We have enough internal politics among our stressed-out fan base, without fuelling more of it. However, the decision is of course Thomas Sandgaard's. If he decides it's the way to go, I won't hold it against him.
We have done the fans representative before and it doesn't work. I would like Sandgaard to put the right people in place, whether they are a fan or not.
Exactly this. Sandgaard is a highly successful, self made businessman. I don’t think he will fool about with bossy amateurs, and rightly so.
