Of course had we stayed up both Suarez and the other chap we sold would have stayed. Seems a waste of time us having them for all this time paying their wages and then them just disappearing.. Maybe a lesson learnt for the future?
Strange headline in the Hertfordshire Mercury - "Troy Deeney transfer news: Odds on Watford star joining West Brom, Tottenham and Newcastle United." I wonder which bit they're each getting...
As Deeney and Sarr were involved on Saturday and apparently committed to the cause I cant see either of them leaving in this window
Re Suarez, perfect solution, do a loan deal for season with 3m upfront and a high purchase at the end of the season. If they have the money, fine but if not he would return to us!
Maybe it's our responsibility to sell them Sarr and get them to give the spare 60m to the lower leagues!
Apparently the starting price for Sarr will be £50m By the time all the add ons are sorted will be a £100m Then we can buy back Sancho as he was ours until Man City stitched us up How many meltdowns would that cause
Some rumours from Adam Leventhal: Transfers in - *Antonio Barreca, left back from Genoa *Still interested in Ryan Manning of QPR Transfers out - *Deulofeu to be gone to Europe by Monday, if not, elsewhere in UK *Hughes - no destination mentioned *Ditto for Pussetto
The transfers out bit looks like he is talking about holibob plans I hope Hughes stays! (Sorry for double post, couldn't edit last one for some reason - probably as I am inept with computers!
Nothing as far as I'm aware - but there have been plenty of suggestions that he is a 'wanted man' for Premier League clubs. Still injured so not training with the squad - maybe someone is wrongly reading something into that?
Oh dear... Will we ever be rid of him - or will Ivic be able to wave a magic wand and turn him into a player?
