Ah ok, I'm caught up now. I hadn't considered when i was responding to that it would be something people bothered following up on the match day thread. I don't believe the conspiracy by the way, it was just yet another stick to beat Shearer with as the "golden boy" whilst all the other England strikers were rotated/ missing out. We had an absolute plethora of striking talent at the time.
