I think you need quality to go with it though and he lacks it. Work rate is pointless when all you do is gift the opposition the ball too often and then commit a foul trying to win it back. I’d take £10m-£15m for him in a heartbeat.
Only caught about 15 mins of that. From what I saw we occasionally create a half chance but Lamela and Gedson have been quite wasteful from those positions. Regulion looks rapid and it’s way too early to make a judgement on him. They’ve only had 3 shots to our 2 so we’re doing ok shutting up shop, but need more of a cutting edge up front, like a striker or something.
Oh for sure. He had a purple patch a year or so ago where he scored a few goals and he does have his uses seeing out a match when we need to keep the work ethic up. But he should never ever be a starter as he just isn’t good enough and sadly never really has been

To be honest we are so beyond poor it is almost comical. Chelsea will not have an easier gsme all season. The were poor on Saturday and against Brighton but we are making them look good. To be expected tbf cos we are a shadow of the side that could compete 2 years ago.
He is like Sissoko & Winks in that he will try his best and has a good attitude but ultimately isn’t good enough and doesn’t offer enough for a club that wants to be pushing for glory.
I am half serious as Kane will come on and try too hard and do himself in. It’s ridiculous that we can’t sign a striker. It’s incredible to think we used to have berbatov, Keane, defoe and bent at one time so why we can’t have 2 I have no idea
The performances are always poor though, even Southampton wasn’t great, it was just Kane and Son being ruthless and them maintaining that high line. I’ll say what I said from day one and probably once a week since he arrived - Mourinho isn’t the right man for Spurs
What’s so frustrating is we don’t have a system that we play. Liverpool are what everyone should aspire to as even though the players interchange the system stays the same. We change players and look a complete mess
He's been a lot more involved than Bergwijn. Hard to criticise either of them too much, as they're not strikers and our system makes no sense, but he's done nothing.
Just a terrible football match - they have had a lot of the ball but we have mainly kept them at arms length. Aurier playing right MF? total waste of a shirt We won't score without changes and I am not sure it is worth the risk.
