Being at home on Thursday does still leave scope for Tanguy to be involved in some capacity. He’s gonna need to be able to play at least twice a week if we qualify for Europa group stages. Step by step though he does seem to be getting there. Im excited to see Reguilon play, whilst hopefully Gedson and Sissoko can step up. Not comfortable with two of the back three though, tragic really that a young defender who’s just returned from injury is the only one that doesn’t worry me - cue him banging a thumping OG now. Agree though, think Chelsea are gonna win. Can’t see where our goals are gonna come from.

I’m not defending his performances recently and he definitely needs to improve but there is plenty ahead of him that need to be shown the door and offer less though. I think Jose has froze him out because of his (correct) comments about the style of play rather than Dele’s performances
Interesting starting XI, but not 2010 levels of WTF. I suspect this will be more a test of which players front up rather than formation.
