Yes Louise Taylor - from memory she actually said something like "hypothetically" when talking about it.

It’s just cheesey soundbites. Honestly I’d rather have the relative stability of Donald than Walter Mitty and that’s saying something.

I replied to this earlier, didn’t hit send any now lost the reply. But wondering why Storey is doing this is like wondering why people with no money go into a Bentley showroom and sign up for a car. Why they go to a posh estate agents and offer £5m for a house when they don’t have £5k.

What happened with Haas is all you need to know. It’s like that bloke who managed to get into the team photo with Man United in Europe once. No one knows how he managed to get on the pitch but it didn’t make him a footballer. What possessed Haas to think he was credible and agree to a sponsorship deal without him putting any money down is beyond me. But he paid them nothing but got a bunch of coverage. It’s obvious he is either mentally ill or a con man. I suspect the former as he is a rubbish con man. Why has he chosen to focus on SAFC? Who knows. Why did some maniac murder Gill Dando?

What worries me is the number of people on this board who think he is credible and/or speaks sense. Stuart Donald is 100x more credible than him. He does actually own a real business that you could check out. Storey does not.

    'Bunch of coverage'!!!!
Genuinely never heard it put this way before!

The problem Bob is that he does speak sense.

Almost everything he says is right tbh. Sunderland are a sleeping giant, could easily bounce back and have a fantastic support.

I've no idea if he has wealthy backers but Ecclestone could easily be one ...

... after all a beautiful woman convinced him she was attracted by his wrinkles and dwarf-like stature <laugh>

  13. Spot on mate, this bloke is having a right good laugh winding up any number of our fans who are so desperate for takeover news, they’ve lost their powers of common sense and reason.

Not for me marra. I'm still in with Sherlock and thinking moves are afoot. Where that leads to I know not but still canny hopeful Fuhrman ends up with more of the club and the Don will be gone. Mainly as Fuhrman has oodles more cash than Don and we're going to need funding while Covid ****s **** up and I'd rather the club was relying on his pockets than Don's.
