Hi all - just after a little advice really. I'm looking for ANY type of weekend work so I can basicallyu afford to live with the way things are currently. With gigs cancelled (4 in the next 2 weeks) and already being £5000 down due to covid (and, as I haven't been part of the duop for long enough the government gave me **** all!!), I'm in dire straits!! (Sadly I'm not Mark Knopfler!) to the point of being worried about losing my house. So I'm looking for a part time weekend only job (or a few hours a couple of nights a week!) but, as it's 15 years since I applied for a job outside of the NHS, I'm completely stuck and have no Idea where to look!! Have google searched and all sorts but found nothing. If there is anyone on here who can help point me in the right direction I'd be very grateful. I'm a computer programmer in my day job but will literally stack shelves if I have to!!
The out of hours Doctors service are always looking for Drivers. As it suggests they only work when surgeries are shut so it's evenings, nights and weekends. Every area does it slightly differently but over here in Cumbria in getting paid to drive round the Lake District. Mind pay is around a tenner an hour which isn't brilliant but tops up my pension so am happy with that. My organisation is a private company but closely linked with the NHS and we work from our local hospital. Hope that gives you something to work from good luck.
Driving jobs going deliveries and for something really simple there’s work from home in the COVID track and trace. Its only £10 hour like but it’s instant income.
I do something called matched betting. If you have say £200 to start with you can make a decent wedge per month putting in a few hours per week. It’s dead easy and the website I use explains it all for you. Ive been furloughed since April and I’ve been doing it to make extra money. PM if you or anyone wants more info.
Good luck mate. I really hope it works out for you. Loads of supermarkets have been looking for delivery drivers and night shift packers for home delivery goods. One of my sons who couldn't get any teaching work for a while done this at Sainsbury's and he enjoyed it and more importantly it kept him afloat.
This is a cracking option if he wants to make a few hundred quid quickly. Must admit though, I've done most of the new customer offers and once they're done it seems like a right **** on trying to make any decent money from it.
Wish I could help but I don't have any remaining contacts in the NE ... ... but I thought I'd bump this up, good luck mate.
had a look on the internet best paid one is dressing up like Danny Larue and selling it at Newcastle docks need a booty bag for all the cash though....... joking aside mate best of luck in your hunt hope all goes well for you.
Made over £1500 from it last year. It was tremendous. Tried the rebut offers as Guinness says, it’s a ball ache once the new customer offers are done. Still keep an eye out for new bookies sites opening for the odd tenner or £20 here and there but they’re few and very far between atm
I really need to figure out how to do the casino welcome offers , and work out which ones are the most likely to get me a profit. I don't understand most casino games (and those bloody machines in pubs are an absolute mystery to me) so I've avoided them, but theres nowt much else to do! The weekly bet clubs can be okay but ones like having to put 5x £10 bets on at paddy Power do my head in. You lose about £2 from the qualifying bets if you aren't betting on good matches in the Lithuanian league (which would see you gubbed quickly) all to try and make about £5 profit. Just a ball ache! Others are like put 3 x in play bets on for a free fiver bet. The amount of guaranteed profit offers after the sign up ones are really low. I don't really see how people make big money from it now. 2 ups if they come in would be good, but you could go a season of qualifying losses without winning any! I'll try the casino ones and if its no good I'll cancel, £18 a month is only worthwhile if you can earn £100 or so quite easily
Music/guitar/keyboard lessons may be a good way to earn a few quid. I learnt when I was touching 60 so it covers pupils of all ages. I paid £100 a month for 1 lesson a week. It's maybe something you'd enjoy as well? Good luck with your search m8
My mate did 3 of the casino offers and made £450! Purely through betting on black on roulette. Small amounts then increasing. Took about 2 hours each due to the minimum wager requirements but he took the team out for Man v Food off his winnings!! I did the same theee offers and lost the lot in less than 25 minutes for each company!!
So this month i have made just shy of £800. Plenty of offers still out there and if you have most of the accounts in tact its still well worth doing. I've been off work since April and being made redundant at end of October so i'm doing this most days now for about 4 hours a day. Casino offers can be a bit hit and miss - they say trust the expected value of the offers and if you do a number of them you tend to come out on top. I did around 20 one month and managed to come out a few hundred up - just got to smash your way through them.
