I never saw either team take a knee at Stoke (unless of course I missed it). But last night both teams took a knee, ok guys we get it, now do as the rugger buggers seem to be doing, leave it as an individual choice and not form of pressure to conform.

Clapping for the NHS and key workers, taking a knee for a career criminal killed during an arrest, I wonder if our red fascists and woke footballers and the under privileged F1 driver from the upper middle class ghetto in Southern England and of course BBC's Saint Gary will pay their respects to the police officer murdered in London in the early hours today?

I very much doubt it. And the likes of Ashley Banjo and Alisha Dixon who are now flaunting BLM slogans and doing dance routines wherever they wish with absolutely no fear of any action being taken against them because of their ethnicity.
As you say, Lineker and more lately the even more horrible Lewis Hamilton wearing political t-shirts are seemingly beyond reproach. Two tier system ? Absolutely, but it's not in OUR favour.
Imagine anyone doing a pro Police dance routine or wearing pro Police jewellery ?
The do-gooders and ethics militants would demand it was stopped and ask for a grovelling apology, which they'd also get by the way.

    Pathetic, all of it.

Again rugger buggers never took a knee last night, my understanding is the advice to them is it's personal choice, which is surely part of democracy, like when Mclean wouldn't wear a shirt with a poppy and was defended by his footballing peers, I bet they wouldn't defend a footballer who refused to take a knee.

Going back to the police sergeant murdered in London yesterday, reports say he is a Sri Lankan on a terror list. If that is the case and he is being allowed to stay because of a human rights decision (which is the most likely case) then the sooner we opt out of parts of the human rights act the better. Only parasite human rights lawyers benefit from allowing dangerous people to stay in the UK and worst of all, we the tax payer actually fund the lawyers get rich quick scheme.

The question is how many more like him are there in the daily Armada's of migrants escaping from the oppression of France and every other border in mainline Europe?

This was posted and later deleted by the red fascist scumbag Owen Jones, the vile hypocrite who works for a newspaper built on the back of the slave trade.

There are elements of the left, the extremists who believe they are the moral authority of what is right or wrong.

    The above is approved of.

Its isnt. the man is a antifa supporting extremist!! he hates this country and what its stands for.

that was being shared on social media -

"Tonight you will see a swathe of thin blue lines across your Facebook and Instagram. Pay it attention. Please.

The Police family just became a little smaller, sadder..... Despite this I can guarantee that the fine men and women of the police will all go to work this evenings shift - some will again be injured protecting you and your property, showing the upmost professionalism in the face of adversary .... unfortunately this morning one of my colleagues paid the ultimate price ....

The thin blue line represents something true. A family. There will be no riots. No civil unrest. No celebrity’s calling for support and being outspoken about the issue. Just another home ruined.....another loved one lost. Sad but true.

Something to consider.... since PC Andrew Harper was killed .... officer set on fire in Newquay... 12 officers injured in acid attack in London, .... countless injured and assaulted daily and now another officer shot and killed.

Just think about that for a minute and maybe reset your moral compasses

Stay safe, and support your emergency services, support your police - we are all that stand between the monsters and the weak xx

At no point did I call either of you a prick <laugh>. I didn't even mention the word. Read it again. It's quite clearly meant to be p*ss, as Cliftonville clearly knows given he quoted it!

Oh give over <laugh>. The conversation was specifically about finance and taxes. What has the army got to do with that.

The both of you just trying to spin what I've said to put it on its head.

It obviously could be taken either way. The context as it frequently is with your posts was derogatory.

Multiple posters picked up on your point about your generation having things harder. What you received was balance. It can be argued that modern life obviously still has challenges, it still has opportunity, is far safer and more comfortable than the life your forebears experienced.

But, naturally, you decided to try and claim both despite only one word being present, of four letters not five. Diversionary tactics time and again eh? One day we'll get the border answer in the other topic <laugh>.

I disagree I think now is terribly hard … I mean I find it hard to find something to do … find it hard to spend all my money … find it hard to have to choose what food I should have for Sunday dinner ...roast duck … partridge … Sirloin …! years ago it so much easier constantly working to scrape a living … didn't have any to spend so that was easy …. and sausage and chips or a bacon butty for Sunday dinner WAS AN easy choice ...bacon butty!

Just stop lying. The last 2 pages have been entirely about Lineker and taxes and finances.

You're lying about the subject to save face and Cliftonville is lying (or making up) insults that I apparently said. Just give up the both of you. I'm wrong plenty of the time and hold my hands up but you're both having a nightmare here.

And (some) boomers seem to feel they had life harder. Many didn't.

By the way, I certainly don't have life hard. But loads of people younger than me do. Don't try and open that debate up for god's sake.
