If he was a total unknown like Mark Campbell was it would be a lot easier pass him off as a hoax, but the fact that he is somewhat in the public eye, not massively I'll grant you that, lends some authenticity to the whole saga.

As time passes by, I get the feeling that Storey could well be the new owner, or at least the frontman with the money coming from elsewhere, where from we might never find out.

What a carry on all this is mind . I'm sure there is plenty to consider here, and it's a big deal for anyone to buy a big football club. But football is a simple business for all that. My own, utterly blind hunch is that Donald's silence for almost all of this whole year is deafening and damming. Someone mentioned Nero recently in connection with Donald, and if anyone ever fiddled while things were burning around him it is that man. I'm thinking now that his ego and personal insecurity, an awful and terrible mix, will cost him and us very dearly. He is a man so far out of his depth he'll no longer recognise the surface if he ever sees it again.

Indeed - but didn't he get quite far down the line with Haas? My fear is he does somehow have some backers behind him, Donald sells him the club then in 4 months he's bored and we are in the same boat again.
This has been going on for 2 months since NB’s tweeted How have none of the media outlets even leaked one piece of info if it’s so close and with EFL etc Even the local press haven’t said anything. Not one rumour or piece of info. In the world we live in, with the written press, TV, social media etc, surely something would have been leaked. Surely most can see that it’s not happening unfortunately and SD is hanging around for a little longer?
One thing about that, is sky, and Dave Jones has asked them not report, the haven’t even reported about story who’s all over saying he’s trying to take over
